Dr. Meyer, DDS

Dr. James J. Meyer maintains a private practice in Greenville, SC, dedicated to general and cosmetic dentistry as well as orthodontic and neuromuscular dentistry. He caters to clientele both locally and around the globe.

Dr. Meyer is one of a select few dentists who have completed the Advanced and Masters programs at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.

A graduate of St. Mary's University and the Loyola University School of Dentistry, Dr. Meyer received his doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1989. He then began a private practice in Chicago, Illinois until relocating to Greenville, SC in 1996.

He has achieved Diplomat status in the American Academy of Pain Management and Fellowship status in the International College of Cranio Mandibular Orthopedics and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Meyer is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the South Carolina Dental Association. Dr. James Meyer has completed a program with the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (D.O.C.S.), enabling him to offer many different levels of conscious sedation to his clients. He also accomplished certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Education is a top priority for Dr. Meyer. Dentistry is a field that is constantly evolving with advancements in technology and techniques that make procedures faster, more exact, and more comfortable for his clients.
