The major problem with erupted wisdom teeth is that they can be hard to reach. To keep your oral cavity clean when you have wisdom teeth, be sure to take a small bit of additional time brushing and carefully reach each of the wisdom teeth at the back of your dental arches.
While brushing two times per day is awesome, it isn’t sufficient on its own: flossing and rinsing with mouthwash are extra ways to keep your oral cavity clean and healthy. If you are unable to floss your wisdom teeth with traditional floss, consider using a water flosser.
Follow the given instructions on your mouthwash to get the most benefit out of it; don’t forget to look for an ADA seal of approval when selecting the mouthwash. By brushing, flossing, rinsing with mouthwash and visiting our office for checkups frequently, you’ll be able to keep your mouth healthy.
